Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murrayhas been suspended one game without pay for "making inappropriatecontact with and verbally abusing a game official," it wasannounced today by NBA executive vice president and head ofbasketball operations Joe Dumars.
The incident occurred at theconclusion of the Hawks’ 129-121 loss to the Boston Celtics in Game4 of their first-round playoff series on April 23 at State FarmArena.

— Complex Sports (@ComplexSports) April 24, 2023Murray will serve his suspension onApril 25 when the Hawks visit the Celtics for Game 5 of the seriesat TD Garden. The Celtics currently lead the series 3-1 over theHawks.
This season, Murray averaged 20.5points, 6.1 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 1.8 threes and 1.5 steals, whileshooting 46.4% from the field, 34.4% from three-point range and83.2% from the free-throw line.
During the first four playoff games,Murray has averaged 25.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 3.3threes and 2.3 steals, while shooting 45.6% from the field, 39.4%from three and 100% from the free-throw line.
