Astrid Wett may have bitten off a little more than she can chew after being challenged to a fight on the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul undercard by Ebanie Bridges.
Boxer Bridges, who hasn't fought since losing her title in December, wants a piece of arguably social media's most annoying Chelsea fan on July 20, when Tyson faces Paul on Netflix.
The Blonde Bomber has looked on as Onlyfans creator Wett - who has won three fights since stepping in the ring for Misfits Boxing - challenged former England footballer Jill Scott for a bout. Coming out of nowhere to issue the challenge, Wett proclaimed: "As you guys know, Jake Paul is fighting Mike Tyson this year, so I think it's about time I put my gloves back on and call out Jill Scott."
"Now I know she's a bit taller than me but I'm sure we could make it work, and this would definitely sell out an arena and be a big pay day for Jill too."
This sparked a response from Bridges, who responded: "I'd happily beat you up @AstridWett as the co main on this card... don't worry about @JillScottJS8... she might be scared but I ain't, let's go baby £££££ @jakepaul."
She also added: "Can I beat up @AstridWett on the undercard of @jakepaul vs @MikeTyson? ? I mean I'd enjoy it [laughing emojis]." Wett, age 23, joked back: "Genuinely - who this?"
Seemingly, she's not so keen on fighting the more experienced boxer. But fans are keen, reports the the Daily Star.
Bridges couldn't resist a dig at Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn in a post which could shed some light on why we haven't seen her so far this year too. A fan had asked her: "Eddie gone quiet with the women boxing since the Saudi money came in? ".
The Australia native replied: "Eddie offering insults as pay days to women."
