Plenty of teams around the NBA are interested in adding a centeras the Feb. 9 trade deadline approaches.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that one center who's drawingplenty of interest is San Antonio Spurs big man JakobPoeltl.
Wojnarowski says that Poeltl could be one of the "pivotalplayers" moved at the deadline, and that the Spurs could see some"real significant offers" for the big man.
The Spurs can only give Poeltl a four-year, $58 millionextension right now, but the free agent-to-be will get more thanthat in the offseason.
Woj adds that the Spurs like Poeltl and would like to keep him,even if they win the Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes, but they couldmove him if an overwhelming offer comes. Poeltl is drawing interestfrom contenders looking to upgrade their frontcourt.
The 27-year-old is averaging 11.9 points and 9.5 rebounds on62.4% shooting this season.
